We are dedicated to engaging with the youth in our church and in our community. Our goal is to teach our young people the importance of growing in their relationship with God and set them on a firm foundation of faith. We serve alongside our teens, letting them know their voices and their contributions to the church are valuable. Participating in youth group meetings, youth conventions, summer camps, and service projects allows the teens to foster meaningful connections with their peers and exploring their faith together.

J-Walkers youth group is open to preteens and teens in grades 6th through 12th. We gather to explore scripture, discuss its relevance to their lives, and deepen their understanding of God's word. Adolescence can be challenging and J-Walkers gives teens a safe environment where they can discuss their struggles, seek advice, and find encouragement. We want to empower teens to live their faith boldly and support one another as they navigate the complexities of life.

J-Walkers meets twice a month in the youth room at Lynnville Heart of Worship. Supper is served at 5:30 and the meeting is from 6-7pm. All teens welcome!

speed the light

Speed the Light is a youth based missions movement for Assembly of God churches. It is a division of the Iowa Ministry Network. STL offers youth conventions, camps and opportunities for youth to engage in the missions world. Their goal is to reach an "unconventional generation with an unconventional anointing"!

Teen summer camp

Every summer, our teens have an amazing opportunity to spend a week at youth camp. They will experience character and team building games, explore a wide variety of activities, meet other like minded youth from around the state.. and most importantly, worship together with their peers. Lives are changed at summer camp and we are excited to offer this faith building opportunity for them!
