Serving is more than volunteering or doing good deeds. We are called to serve as an act of showing God's love to others through kindness and compassion. God has equipped each of us with unique personalities and skills to make an impact in His kingdom. We use these gifts to express gratitude, devotion, and reverence to the one who created us. Heart of Worship is dedicated to serving our community any way possible. We are always looking for new outreach opportunities and find joy in seeing our members find their service calling.

blessing box
The Christmas Blessing box is available for donations all year round. In the month of December, the donations are distributed to families in the church to bless someone in need during the Christmas season. Every year we set out to bless others but always return humbled and feeling
extremely blessed ourselves.

fifth quarter
Heart of Worship loves the youth of our community! After every home football game, the local high school gym fills with students ranging from 7th to 12th grade. The night is filled with food, games, prizes, fellowship and gives the teens a place to connect with each other in a safe and positive environment.
pay it forward
The Pay it Forward clothes closet serves local families in need of clothing, shoes, and outerwear . All items are collected by donation and the store is manned by volunteers from the church. We are so thrilled to offer this service to those in need in the surrounding communities.

heart to heart food pantry
Heart to Heart food pantry is thankful for the opportunity to serve families in need. Food insecurity is more common than most realize, even in our own community. We offer 30lb food boxes available for pick up from the church or at the Pay it Forward clothes closet. On the first Tuesday of every month, we also host the Jasper County bread line at the PIF building. Baked goods and other food items are available from local grocery stores to anyone in need. Every Thanksgiving, we pack holiday meal boxes for families who cannot afford the fixings for Thanksgiving dinner. It is our joy to make sure everyone can celebrate the holiday with a special meal.
community easter egg hunt
The highlight of spring for Heart of Worship is the community Easter egg hunt! Volunteers spend weeks stuffing thousands of eggs in anticipation of the big day! Hundreds of kids fill the grounds at Old Settlers ready for the rush of Easter egg hunting. They also get to visit with the Easter bunny and chick and wait with excitement to see if they win one of the big prizes. We are thrilled to organize this traditional event for local families every year.
plates of cheer
Stop by Heart of Worship one Saturday in December and you'll find volunteers packing plate after plate of delicious Christmas goodies! It is a joy to deliver plates of cheer to elderly or homebound members of our community. This small gesture reminds them they are loved and thought about during the holidays and all year through.
